As part of the superior building solutions it offers, CEMEX installed a mobile ready-mix concrete batching plant directly at the construction site, which allowed minimizing ready-mix delivery timing and helped to ensure that the construction work was being carried out fluidly and on time. CEMEX also provided several types of specialty ready-mix concrete products, including a special architectural self-compacting concrete, used to create exposed vertical architectural construction elements, and decorative ready-mix concrete colored with dark gray pigments. The ready-mix concrete grating that serves as the foundation of the structure was built with 9,000 m³ of a specialty ready-mix concrete ideal for such large structures.
